Dr. Lalit Varma is a retired Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer who served for over 34 years, retiring in March 2019. He is currently the National Vice Chairman of the National Industrial Research and Development Corporation (NIRDC) and holds a position as Managing Director at PRVTI Logistics. He has a diverse academic background, having earned degrees in MBBS, LLB, MBA, and a Ph.D.Dr. Varma had a long career in the IAS, working in various departments of the Government of India before his retirement. He has also been identified as a former Additional Chief Secretary to the Uttar Pradesh Government and has appeared as a guest speaker at events.
