Overview
The National Industries Research and Development Council (NIRDC) is a registered society under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, dedicated to advancing India’s industrial research, innovation, and developmental ecosystem. Guided by the leadership of Shri Sambhu Singh, IAS (Retd.), National Chairman, and Shri S. Vasudev, National Administrator, NIRDC works to strengthen Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through research-led growth, technology-driven initiatives, and inclusive development.
With a strong grassroots presence, the Council operates Facilitation Centres in 11 states and Incubation Centres in 5 states, promoting entrepreneurship, skill enhancement, and innovation. NIRDC also organizes national industrial events such as InDex – the Industrial Development Exhibition, providing a platform for MSMEs, innovators, and policymakers to collaborate and showcase India’s progress in industrial advancement.
